Meet the residents who shaped Sheffield’s history, from Mark Firth and Samuel Holberry to the Cole Brothers and George Bassett, and many more. Discover the stories behind some of our 87,000 burials, see the French-inspired catacombs and the listed monuments & structures including the recently restored Samuel Worth Chapel, in this unique and historic Victorian landscaped ‘Garden Cemetery’.

- Location: The Gatehouse, top of Cemetery Avenue, Sheffield, S11 8NT
- Our café and bookstall will be open at the Samuel Worth Chapel from 2pm to 4pm – purchases by cash, debit/credit card or phone app (e.g. Google Pay, Apple Pay).
This is a SGCT volunteer led fundraising event for Sheffield General Cemetery Trust and proceeds go to fund the charitable aims of the Trust.
