About this Event
Pranakirtan and the beautiful Hastings Sangha return to continue the Bhakti journey at the wonderful Wellington Centre for an evening of chanting from the heart.
We'd love you to join us in this sublime venue as we sing together Sanskrit mantras and melodies to cleanse and uplift hearts and minds.
No experience necessary, we'll share simple chants and songs, in both easy-to-follow call and response style and some singing together once comfy, in wonderful tones as we blend our voices with natural acoustic sounds of drum and mellow harmonium.
As usual we'll be drawing inspiration from the likes of Mooji Sangha, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Nikki Slade, Deva Premal and Miten, Narayani, and Sivani Mata, as well as sharing original Western-style kirtan songs; there will be a divine mix for the heart and soul ?
Mats/cushions/chairs/blocks and blankets are provided but do please bring some water for your comfort, and please come along if you're well ❤. Please note this is a sober/conscious event ❤ We ask that no recordings/photos are taken during the event - let's treasure it in experience and then memory, many thanks ❤
Please note there are several flights of stairs to access the room at the venue - but it's worth it if you can ;-)
Bookings by donation via the link or direct message me please - a share after expenses will be gifted to charity. There are also a number of free spaces to ensure this is accessible to all.
