Hey Bodhi Peeps! We have a new artist of the month for April and it's none other than my mom, Eva. She's made a couple of things for the store already, but I'm thrilled for all of you to check out the other practical and whimsical sewn items she creates! She will have a variety of sewn and quited items that are so beautiful they can be viewed as an art piece for your kitchen or dining room or used functionally. She makes "bowlies" which are those cloth bowls you use in the microwave so you don't burn your fingers on the hot bowls when you take them out, microwave bags to bake potatoes in, hot pads (that come with a hanger so it can be hung on the wall), placemats, and table runners. She will also have some beaded jewelry and tassels for sale. We will have some light refreshments available too. We look forward to celebrating this local artist of the month with all of you very soon!
