About this Event
Join us for the April 2025 meeting of the BOLD FORK BAKE CLUB!
Here’s how it works: everyone will prepare a bake from A GOOD DAY TO BAKE (a couple of days after you sign up, you’ll have access to a spreadsheet where attendees list their chosen dishes.)
Then we’ll gather in the shop and share a feast! We’ll talk through the process of procuring ingredients, challenges and unexpected pleasures of the baking process and many other things related to A GOOD DAY TO BAKE.
If you purchase a copy of the book from us with your ticket, you can pick it up in our store, or have it shipped for an additional cost.
Please note: because of the high demand of this event, we will not be able to process refunds. A couple of days after you sign up for this event, you’ll have access to a spreadsheet where attendees list their chosen dishes.
ABOUT THE COOKBOOK
A GOOD DAY TO BAKE is full of 70 sweet and savory baking recipes for any day of the week, led by flavor. Going through the ritual of bringing out the measuring scales, pouring out flour, whipping up the eggs, stirring the batter and impatiently slicing up warm cake is a beautiful thing that deserves to be enjoyed all year round no matter the day, season or occasion. This is a cookbook that embraces simplicity, mindfulness and the therapeutic comforts of baking. The Great British Baking Show's 2016 contestant Benjamina writes so warmly about cakes and her recipes speak to a natural, seasonal and down-to-earth way of baking. Chapters include Herbs & Tea, Stone Fruit & Berries, Vegetables, Best of Beige, Spice Cupboard, and Chocolate. Because every day is a good day to bake.
