Storytelling builds community! The Alameda Story Slam is a monthly open mic storytelling event. Each month there is a different theme and a featured storyteller. Our April theme is "THE WEE HOURS" with Featured Storyteller David Rodriguez on Thursday April 17th at 7:30 pm. Attendees can put their name in the hat for a chance to tell a 5-minute true personal story based on the theme. The event is at the Alameda Elks Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Ave, Alameda, CA 94501, 7:30 - 9:30 pm. No host bar and free light snacks available. Suggested Donation: $20. COME JOIN US!
