Join us this Saturday, April 5th with a visit to the UTEP Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens. Doors open at 9:30 am for coffee and socializing, followed by business meetings at 10 am. Following the business meetings, Kevin Floyd will give a brief overview of the exhibit "Cultivating Your Home: Embracing Chihuahuan Desert Diversity." The Gardens turned 25 years old last September, and the museum staff created an exhibit to celebrate and reflect the mission of the Gardens to educate about and enjoy native plants. The presentation will be followed by tours of the exhibit and the Gardens. There will be an emphasis on some of the plants that will be available on April 12 at the FloraFest Native Plant Sale.Parking is available in the lot behind the museum. The meeting is open to everyone.
