About this Event
Join us on the Saturday after Earth Day to explore the 14 plant collections across the 17-acre Greensboro Arboretum in Lindley Park.
CampOUT is dedicated to creating inclusive outdoor experiences for the LGBTQ community to connect with each other and nature. Events are open to everyone who wants to explore the outdoors, even if they’ve never hiked, biked, kayaked, or camped.
This CampOUT is organized by a volunteer and GGF board member, Jack Garvey. He has been a fan of the outdoors his whole life. Growing up with scouting, he has a lifelong connection to trails and parks around North Carolina. He has worked for the nonprofit partner of Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park. Jack was also Co-Chair of the National Park Foundation Development Leaders Network. He is excited to create community while exploring public parks and open spaces.
Registration is limited to 20 guests, so please update your RSVP if you can no longer attend. Please get in touch with the event organizer if you have questions about accessibility.
