Apricity means "the warmth of the sun in winter." Join PPY for our annual Winter Solstice Event offering featuring a warm slow flow held in the candlelight of our Fire studio.This 90 minute class will be arranged in a cozy and magically lit circle around an indoor fire. Expect a choreographed moving meditation followed by a deep stretch curated by 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Studio Founder, Sherry Lankford. Sherry will weave winter stories and Winter Solstice folklore throughout the class, embracing the darkness and its ability to nourish and replenish the soul.
The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and the longest night of the calendar year. Release the dark in favor of the light–both literally and metaphorically–and to welcome back the sun (light) as each new day begins to grow longer and longer.
