About this Event
Each day in the social sector feels unpredictable as we experience rapid change, divisiveness, and a hypernormalization of fear. To continue our work towards our missions, we must build our individual and collective capacity to navigate conflict in our daily working relationships and organizations. We need to approach conflict with courage and have some difficult conversations. When we are under pressure, how can we work towards a shared purpose? How can we communicate clearly through tension and disagreement, set clear boundaries for ourselves and others, and keep our values at the core?
What You’ll Gain:
- A deeper understanding of your conflict and communication styles, and how your styles are informed by your values, identities, and experiences.
- Communication tools and strategies to build trust and navigate challenging conversations in your daily working relationships.
- New organizational practices and structures that center shared values, clarify decision making, and create feedback loops to strengthen team capacity for conflict.
