About this Event
An opportunity for nurses working within paediatric palliative care or within paediatric complex healthcare to meet. Keynote speakers will include representatives from the HEARD organisation looking at the question of “How do we as nurses and AHPs change the narrative of paediatric palliative care for the future?”; a representative from Together for Short Lives to report on the work they are doing on definitions within paediatric palliative medicine; a reflection on current ethical issues. The afternoon will include three workshops (delegates to choose two) - workforce challenges; a clinically focused session; verification of death and the role of the Medical Examiner. This will be followed by a short session on resilience. Lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there.
