Outlines of the workshop:
Duration: 5 hours
1. Welcome & Introduction (20 mins)
• Meet the instructor & participants
• What to expect today
2. Understanding Pet Photography Basics (40 mins)
• What am I trying to show? (My own pet/fashion shoot/pet product/other product)
• Lighting & angles. (dramatic, playful, static etc.)
• Pet expressions & capturing personality angles.
• How to deal with different pet personalities and traits.
3. VIVO Camera Deep Dive (45 mins)
• Key camera features for pet photography using VIVO. (will differ depending on 3 models)
• Examples of images shot with VIVO.
4. Live Demo & Setup (30 mins)
• Backdrop & lighting setup (natural lighting and/or continuous lighting systems)
• How to prepare dogs for the shot.
5. Practical Shoot: Dog Models Session (1 hr 30 mins)
• Senior calm dog.
• Trained young playful dog.
• Hyperactive dog challenge.
6. Reviewing Results (30 mins)
• Quick edits & best practices.
• Feedback and tips.
7. Final Q&A; + Group Photo (15 mins)

About Dinah:
I’m Dinah Harvey. I’m 25 years old, an Architectural Engineer graduate and Egypt’s first professional pet photographer. What started as a love for dogs and photography has grown into a full studio dedicated entirely to pets. I launched Clooper Studios three years ago; a pet photography studio that captures beautiful playful moments of pets with their owners, giving people irreplaceable memories of their pets to cherish forever. The studio was inspired and named after my two dogs Cleo + Cooper.
Clooper Studios has experience with over 300+ dogs and 30+ cats. My style is natural, colorful, and expressive, always focused on the details that make each dog one-of-a-kind, as they truly are. I believe pet photography should be creative, and full of heart and I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others — helping pet parents take images they’re proud of, even with just a phone in their hands at home. Pets bring so much joy into the world and especially into their owners’ worlds, and I feel lucky that my job lets me capture a little piece of that every day.
