If you are a Registered Yoga Teacher who needs to refresh their anatomy knowledge - join the students of the RYS 200 Foundational Yoga Teacher training for their Anatomy Intensive weekends. This is an excellent opportunity to review your anatomy and build community with upcoming yoga teachers.This weekend will feature a deep dive into the anatomy of The Spine.
Our deep dive into the Spine will cover detailed anatomy of the skeletal, muscular and connective tissues of the Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar and Sacral Spine. A special focus on the Lumbar Spine will be featured in this weekend.
The weekend will conclude with practicing and applying your knowledge to yoga poses to deepen your understanding of the purpose of the pose; what limits people in a pose and ways to adjust / accommodate for anatomical differences.
Earn 15hr of YA CEU's per weekend. Each weekend will meet on the following days/times:
Friday 6-9pm
Saturday / Sunday 9-6pm
Cost: $300 / weekend. You must call the studio at 270-506-2894 to register for this weekend.
