Maps to Caps is here to share strategies on how to not only organize and optimize your college search, but to build a blueprint for your college career that you can adapt along the way. The goal is to offer outlets and spaces to be strategic and intentional about one’s college pursuits – while also leaving room for the random, unplanned, and unknown.
The goal is to increase student satisfaction – in which one’s decision-making becomes more compatible and aligned with one’s personal, professional, and academic objectives.
Based on the book, Project Plan Your College Career: From Application to Graduation, Maps to Caps Event(s) supports those preparing for, entering, or already admitted to college; in a variety of ways until the graduation day.
The consultation consists of several exercises and activities including Criteria Comparison, 3 Aces & a Spade, Double P, TEAS/SKETS, SWOT, and Zap the Gap. Interested in learning more about our work?

Facilitator is a former educator who has experience working in traditional public and preparatory charter schools developing college advisory curriculum. She also worked for New York University building partnerships with secondary public schools. She is eager to support young talent with their college and career plans.
