Bank First will host a FREE paper shredding event on Saturday, September 13, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 4201 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton! While this event is free and open to the public, Bank First kindly requests participants bring a non-perishable food donation in exchange for each bag of shredded personal documents. All food donations will go directly to area food pantries to help support our local communities. With the growing risk of identity theft and fraud in today’s society, Bank First is proud to offer community residents a safe, secure way to dispose of personal documents while giving back. In 2023, we shredded an impressive 67,500 pounds of paper at 16 events – and in 2024, we surpassed that with 87,600 pounds shredded across 18 locations!
Confidential Records, an AAA-certified shredding company, will provide mobile shredding units to securely destroy all personal and confidential documents. The company employs licensed and bonded document destruction specialists and guarantees the secure removal of all shredded materials.
To allow enough space for community residents, we kindly ask that businesses refrain from participating. We will hold the events rain or shine, and participants are welcome to stay and watch the shredding process for added peace of mind.
