This walk will follow after our AGM, and we will aim to commence this 8 mile one from Appledore, as near to 11.30am as possible, after the short drive from Bromley Green, where the meeting is being held for Ashford group members.
The walk heads along the Saxon Shore Way, over to Stone-in-Oxney, picnic lunch stop at St Mary's church. We then head down Stone Cliff, to reach the Royal Military Canal, for the return to Appledore.
Black Lion is useful in Appledore for a post walk drink for those who wish to indulge.
Dogs welcome but on a short lead when required.
Difficulty: Leisurely
Ascent: 270ft
Starting point - Car park at Appledore Village Hall, there are toilets if needed at the nearby Recreation Ground
