Join volunteers from the Dane Valley Orchard and Weaverham Memorial Orchard for a fun morning squeezing apples at the artisan market! Cheshire is famous for it's apple heritage and what better way to explore history that by learning the simple and fun process of making fresh (delicious) fruit juice the traditional way.
We are bringing organic apples from our orchards but please bring along more apples from your local trees to add in. (please check first if it's ok to collect apples if it's not your tree 👍) Please rinse them in warm water before bringing them.
Tasters will be available through the event, if you want to take home some juice (if there is enough) please bring along a sterilised bottle or jam jar with a secure lid.
Find us next to the temporarily closed library on Witton Street by the Brunner Court brnches. 10am-12.30pm. come and watch or have a go!
