Bakers - register to make a pie for judging (Recipe must be submitted, crust must be handmade, only apples)
Judges are representatives from Chelmsford!
There are lots of pies to taste, some voting for fun and the event is supported by the Friends of the Library.
SCHEDULE:
� Contestants pre-register online
� Contestants bring pies by 1:00 p.m.
� Judging will begin at 1:30 p.m.
� The general public will then be invited at 2:00pm to feast on apple pie, vote for people's choice award, and vote for best staff-made pie. (You do not have to register to come.)
� Winners will be announced following the judging with ribbons and prizes awarded.
RULES:
� All pies are to be homemade, with a homemade double crust.
� Filling is to be just apples (no raisins, cranberries, etc).
� Recipe must accompany the pie, including the type of apple(s) used.
