It Takes A VillageLed by Jonathan Norton, Playwright in Residence at Dallas Theater Center
Participants will work together as a team to create a brand-new short play. Using creative writing exercises, improv, and the special talents of each participant, the class will build a new piece from scratch. All experience levels are welcome, and everyone has something important to offer! Fall will focus on creating an exciting cliffhanger. Winter will create a thrilling conclusion, and in Spring we’ll focus on revisions, as we prepare for a public sharing of their new play.
COVID-19 Guidelines:
All Dallas Theater Center employees are vaccinated against COVID-19. COVID safety protocols for the participants will be determined by the site where the workshop or activity takes place. We will continue to monitor our satefy protocols.
