What to Expect!
Indoor Event
- Doors open at 6p and entry ends at 6:30p to preserve a space of community and connection. We will be going over some housekeeping items first, so please be prepared to show up on time
-First, Giselle of @GG.Empowers will guide us through some somatic healing exercises, which combine breathwork, meditation, dance, and exercise to strengthen our connection with our self, get comfier dancing around others, and learn some great new dance moves to incorporate into our improvisational flow.
-Then, we will have plenty of time to free-form dance to the sounds of world influenced, spiritual and dance music in immersive surround sound, produced by DJ Dale Dale.
-Lastly, we gather in ceremony as Giselle plays crystal and tibetan soundbowls and offers healing sound waves to ground and center us as we reach the end of our time together.
Some guidelines for the Ecstatic Dance space:
- This is a sacred space; we ask that you take off of your shoes at the entry.
- This is a substance free and judgement free zone
- Verbal consent is key
- Please keep spirited conversation off of the dance floor
- Stay present - please keep technology use to a minimum, we ask that you do not take pictures or videos so that the space remains respectful and comfortable.
