The critically acclaimed five-piece ensemble APOLLO5 commemorates its upcoming 15th-anniversary milestone with ‘Anam: Music to move the soul’.
With ‘Anam’ meaning ‘soul’ in Gaelic, a strong Celtic theme underpins the album, which sees new arrangements of folk songs, pagan texts, poetry by Robert Burns, brand new commissions inspired by Scottish and Irish musical traditions, and even traditional instruments including the Uilleann pipes.
