Apollo Academy Youth Orchestra at St Matthew's Walsall

Apollo Academy Youth Orchestra are based in Sutton Coldfield, meeting weekly in term time. The orchestra is run and managed by the section leaders, under the supervision of Paul Ecclestone-Brown and the Apollo music team. The charity also offers performing arts activities, provides musicians to play short recitals in local hospital venues and works with dozens of developing musicians on a regular basis.
After an astonishing debut last November at St Matthew’s with Beethoven’s 7th Symphony in the programme, this year they bring Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances and Night on a Bare Mountain by Mussorgsky. A must-see for supporters of young musicians and live classical music.
