APOC 2025!!!!!
The premier Toowoomba Heresy Social event of the year. This event will be the opportunity to celebrate another year of collectively hating Erebus and rolling dice. The list construction and gameplay modifications for the event can be found below but it will give everyone the opportunity to bring all their biggest toys out and see what they can do on the tabletop. Arrive at 9 as teams will be formed and Warmasters nominated with deployment to begin at 9:30. The game will continue until 5pm with 1 hour break for lunch.
Army Construction & Rule Modifications
- 4000 points Per Player.
- Lords of War not limited by Points (Can bring as many as you want up to your 4k)
- No Reactions (Excluding combat air patrol and Heroic Intervention)
- Heroic Intervention can be used 1 time per activation
- Emplaced weapons (like Tarantulas) that normally fire via a reaction instead resolve their shooting attacks in the shooting phase.
- No HQ Requirements to bring detachments (i.e you may bring as many detachments as you like no need to bring additional HQ’s)
- All models in a unit with the Infantry, Cavalry and Automata unit type must be equipped identically unless it is impossible to do so. (Note this by design prevents wargear such as vox’s, augury scanners ect from being selected. It does not effect command units joined to a squad as they are a separate unit)
- All Detachments taken in an army must have all slots fully filled prior to taking another detachment of the same type.
- All vehicles with the same primary weapon must be placed in a squadron (to a maximum of three vehicles per squadron) per the rules in second edition.
- Units firing multiple blast templates with or without the barrage special rule add 2” to the base template size per additional shot but only fire once (ie two Scorpius fire one 7” template rather than 2 5” templates). This will be Set up to a Maximum of 9”.
- Any units arriving by deep strike, subterranean assault or similar must reroll all direct hit results.
- The mechanics (and limitations upon) for reserves and deepstrike per the core rules are not in use. This allows for players to play unique deployments like drop pod assault which are restricted by the core rules.
- Bear in mind the above does not affect Aeiral Reserves and they operate as per the core rules.

Event Special Rule
No One Looks Good in Grey: Any unit that is not fully painted and based must subtract -1 from its cool characteristic.
Awards
This is a social event and there will be no awards except the two listed below. Entry fees will go towards lunch and minor prizes to be given out throughout the day.
Best Painted
Cone of Shame: The player with the most gamey list as voted by their peers must wear the cone of shame during the event

3. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT FOR FULLY PAINTED.
This is the to nurture our small but growing community. The painting requirements are being relaxed to encourage new players to participate in and foster the relaxed gaming that the Heresy Community is well known for.
HOWEVER, you are encouraged to bring fully painted if you have it.
