The API 2448 has earned its place as one of the most beloved modern consoles in pro audio, celebrated for its classic design, unmistakable punch, and ability to fit into a hybrid workflow. Vintage King Los Angeles is once again home to this iconic desk, and we’re inviting you to experience it in person at our API 2448 Console Open House on September 18 from 5 to 8 PM.
Built on decades of legendary design, the 2448 combines the tone and character of classic API consoles with the flexibility demanded by today’s studio setups. From its signature 2520 op-amps to its versatile routing options, every detail is crafted to inspire you during your recording and mixing journey.
Joining us for the evening will be Jay.Greens, a producer, engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and owner of Perception Records. Having recently collaborated with Vintage King to install a 2448 in his studio, Jay will share how this console has become the centerpiece of his creative process and how he utilizes it with his other gear and DAW.
The team at Vintage King Los Angeles and API Audio staff will also be present to guide you through the console, offer expert insights, and answer any questions you may have while you enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
