An evening of embodying love through curated performance, thoughtful workshops and a collective art market to invite the senses out to play, engage the heart and connect with the body.
Aphrodisia offers an invitation to transform any preconceived notions of pole dance through performances of elegant expression of the sensual energy contained within the physical form. Melding art forms together to unite the many different ways we create: spoken word, poetry, partnership and acoustic guitar will all be intertwined with pole dance performances. Dances will evoke the many different creatures and faces of love.
Romance your olfactory network through an interactive workshop on perfumery and the stories scent tells in awakening and shaping desire, intimacy and passion. Catch the unveiling of a very special perfume designed just for this event and then watch as it is translated before you into body-movement art through evocative dance.
Find yourself a uniquely created object of love at Aphrodisia’s Art Market - offering locally made art, perfume and self adornments from vintage jewels to pre-loved silky slip dresses.
Closing the evening, a sensual wellness guided experience led with conscious care by Michelle Wright, somatic relationship practitioner, will let you carry the open-hearted energy of the evening home with you. Connect with your erotic empowerment through understanding your needs, breaking the chains on what is blocking you and unlocking your core desire.

About your facilitators:
Heidi Lamoureux is an artist and Integrative Wellness therapist working with the modalities of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, energy healing work, reflexology, intuitive guidance and body movement therapies. Her artistry expresses itself through visual pieces, spoken word and dance & body movement. Heidi finds the act of creating and sharing to be crucial to the wellness of the body, mind and spirit. She produces and facilitates healing arts gatherings, shows and events that bring out the expressions of the sensual and subtle energy within, explore the deeper currents of living in a human body and offer integration of the whole self.
