NATIONAL SHOW 2024We are very excited about this year's ApHC UK National show to be held on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August 2024, with a clinic available on Friday evening from 6pm onwards on 9 August with Lee Rutter at our normal venue at Moreton Morrell in Warwickshire. Our UK judge this year is Martin Surman and our USA judge is Christina Ottersbach from Germany and we look forward to welcoming them both to our nationals.
The show schedules have been available on the website for some time and we are now able to announce that we have an online booking form on our website www.aphcuk.org This is now open to take your entries. This should streamline the process for you and save time as you won't have to enter your details on every form! As normal, you will need to complete a booking form for each different combination of horse and competitor and make your payment to complete your entry. You can also update your documents such as your flu vaccinations and ApHC registration forms for USA registered Appaloosas. As well as entering the classes you want to do you also need to enter the clinic if you wish to attend it, which you can do on any horse. We decided that this year we would make the clinic free again (as we did last year) to any current annual ApHC UK member. However, you still need to book in on the entry form.
You will notice that on the Sunday we are running some western classes that are open to All Breeds of horses/ponies as well as our normal western classes that are open to both USA and UK registered Appaloosas. We are liaising with the USA judge and will post the relevant patterns on our website once we receive them.
You will be able to book an evening meal with the caterers for the Saturday evening but this must be done in advance so that we know numbers.
We will also have a social get together afterwards as it is a great opportunity to catch up with old and new friends. We are really looking forward to seeing our members and their horses so that we can celebrate the wonderful Appaloosa - The Breed of Choice.
