Join the Zoe team on August 23 for a fun morning assembling jars of cookie mixes in the CLC gym. Set up will start at 8 a.m. and assembly begins at 9 a.m. We will work until all 680 jars are completed! We expect to be done and cleaned up by noon. If you want to be a part of the fun, but this date doesn’t work for you, please contact Angie Koch to learn about dates for soup mix assembly at First UMC Cary, and activities that can be done at home on your own schedule. We join with First UMC Cary on these activities; we host the cookie assembly, and they host the soup assembly sessions. Volunteers from both churches get a chance to work together.
We will be selling the soup and cookie mix this fall starting in October, and all proceeds go to support the empowerment groups that we sponsor at Zoe Empowers. Zoe Empowers equips vulnerable youth in Africa and India with solutions to overcome extreme poverty and break the poverty cycle for good.
