Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study Please join Phyllis Stern in the Fellowship Hall for the study of 2 Corinthians on Tuesday, September 9, from 10:00 - 11:30 to begin a study ending on November 25. We'll be utilizing N. T. Wright's Bible Study Guide for 2 Corinthians.
Paul's 2nd letter to Corinth is very different from the first one. Something terrible has happened and in this letter he goes down deeper into sorrow and hurt, and what to do about it than he does anywhere else. He emerges with a deeper, clearer vision of what it means that Jesus himself suffered for and with us and rose again in triumph. The letter brings us out into the sunlight, and has a lot to teach us as we make that journey from time to time ourselves.
