CHRIS GEORGE
Chris George has been a New York film and television professional for over 25 years and a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) since 2005. He is currently the Co-Producer and Unit Production Manager (UPM) for Season 5 of the Hulu hit series, Only Murders in the Building starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Other shows he has production-managed include The Politician for Netflix, Evil for Paramount Global, and Divorce for HBO. Prior to becoming a UPM, Chris worked as the Location Manager for many of NYC’s biggest productions, including HBO’s The Deuce, Fox’s The Following, and NBC’s 30 Rock. Other credits include the feature films Second Act with Jennifer Lopez, Hitch with Will Smith, and the Academy Award for Best Picture-winning A Beautiful Mind directed by Ron Howard. Chris began his career in 1998 sweeping floors at a Clifton, NJ construction shop for the Denzel Washington movie, The Hurricane, and it weren’t for the love of his life – his wife, Susan – he would still be doing that. Chris holds a B.S. in Broadcasting and Film from the College of Communication at Boston University.
