About this Event
Dust off your hiking shoes and pack your bag for a hiking adventure to Rock Creek Park with APA DC! This will be the spring gathering for our quarterly series.
We'll meet at the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium at 10am and hike a moderately challenging 5.6 mile loop. The trail will take us along the creek and through the neighboring forest. For more info on the trail, click here.
Make sure to wear layers, choose a good pair of hiking shoes and pack your camera, snacks/lunch and water. Plan to be out on the trail for about 2.5-3 hours.
Please note:
- This hike is open to anyone over the age of 18 in the DC photographic community.
- There are bathrooms in the Nature Center, but not along the trail.
- This hike is not wheelchair accessible.
All guests must register prior to the hike. If you plan to bring a guest, please make sure they register themselves.
