Location 25.For Art on the Hill 2024, Gallery 57 in the city centre will be showcasing work by 6 artists who are all part of Urban Sketchers Newport. The group meets regularly to go out sketching together to capture urban scenes and architecture in Newport and surrounding areas. The artists featuring in the exhibition are Gary Yeung, Justin Brown, Stephen Paul Dale, Pauline Price, Gerard Whyman and Paul Weston. Each will be showing several pieces during the exhibition, which will run in Gallery 57 until December 13. The exhibition will launch on the evening of Friday November 22, 2024 at 6pm and some of the artists will be in the gallery on Saturday and Sunday of Art on the Hill weekend to chat and discuss their work. Gallery 57 is open from 9.30am - 5pm on weekdays and from 11am to 4 pm on Sunday November 24. The gallery is at Unit 9 Chartist Tower, Upper Dock Street, Newport NP20 1DX.
