Ashlie Kègo’s artwork is a celebration of African culture, history and personal storytelling. She draws inspiration from her culture and experiences. Her pieces are known for their vibrant colors, intricate details and emotional depth. Ashlie’s art has been showcased in renowned spaces such as the de Young Museum, Macy’s, West Elm, and numerous galleries. Beyond her creative expression, Ashlie uses her work to make an impact, advocating for sickle cell disease awareness and donating a portion of her sales to support Sickle Cell 101. Her art serves as a bridge between tradition and modernity, fostering connection, reflection and cultural pride.
ARTPUSH is dedicated to promoting and supporting artists by producing regular shows and exhibits, workshops, annual festivals in collaboration with community groups, organizations, and local businesses.
In its 28th year, Art of the African Diaspora continues to express and celebrate the creative achievements of artists of African descent. This year, over 150 artists showcase their work at Richmond Art Center, as well as in open studios and satellite exhibitions at different venues around the Bay Area.
Alameda Brewing began back in 2015 as a partnership between Coast Guard veteran Matthew Fox and Construction Manager Bill Phua as Alameda Island Brewing Company. Alameda Brewing was the team’s vision to bring craft beer to Downtown Alameda.
