
About this Event
Whether you are a frog and toad enthusiast, or just curious and want to do something educational and fun, this program is for you! Join local naturalist and environmental educator Pam Golben to learn about ten different species of frogs and toads common to the Hudson Valley. Learn how to identify the species by sight and sound before taking a stroll around AOOA Farm to test your new skills and see what you can find.
Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight!
Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, please register in advance!
All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
About the instructor:
Pam Golben is a local naturalist and environmental educator who has been teaching nature programs for over 30 years. She enjoys inviting people to take a closer look at our amazing local plants and animals. Pam currently works as the Senior Educator at the Mamakating Environmental Education Center in Wurtsboro, NY and is the owner of Golben Farms, a small native plant nursery in Florida, NY.
