Anything Can Happen: A Spring Concert

Join us for a performance of music featuring a global selection ranging from traditional spirituals to modern songs of social justice, hope and community. We offer these songs as a pathway to help realign with the rhythms of the earth that hold us steady and give us the courage to keep leaning into places of hopeful possibility, where Anything Can Happen!

This is a live performance at the First Baptist Church Sanctuary. General admission tickets start at $15 online, $20 at the door (cash or check only at the door). Thanks to a generous grant from 99GALS of Yamhill County, we are able to offer free tickets to youth under age 16.

McMinnville Women's Choir has been sharing music with the community for more than a decade. Our community of self-identifying women singers seeks to provide everyone with songs to open hearts and minds to life's possibilities! Please consider providing support by adding a little extra to your ticket price as a donation to the McMinnville Women's Choir, a registered 501c3 nonprofit under its parent organization Music for all Corvallis.

Our mission is to provide a strong singing community of self-identifying women of all ages and orientations, who sing for self-expression, camaraderie, and social justice. We are open to people of all skill levels and experiences. Our music encompasses a broad repertoire representing diverse languages, musical styles, spiritualities and social content. We value a diverse, supportive, and inclusive singing community that enjoys an eclectic repertoire of songs including classical, international, sacred music from many traditions and the music of social justice.

No auditions are necessary to become a choir member. Singers of all levels and musical experience are welcomed. Members come from McMinnville and nearby towns including Newberg, Dundee, Lafayette, Gaston, Carlton, Sheridan, Amity, Dayton, and surrounding areas. We perform two concerts each year, one in December and one in May. We frequently sing at special community events such as the McMinnville city celebration, Earth Day, Wine Country Pride, and other private and public venues.
