Themed around “Reflection”, join us for an evening of inspirational talks, creative collaboration and forward thinking conversations. Whether you're an experienced professional, just starting out, or a passionate hobbyist, this evening offers a great opportunity to gain fresh perspectives and connect with a community of like-minded local creatives.

Type Designer & Animator
Mat is your friendly neighbourhood type designer & animator. He specialises in 2D type animation and is mainly known for his pioneering style exploring illustrative kinetic typography. His work infuses letterforms with character and has been applied to animated GIFs, stickers, music videos & motion identities for clients/broadcast globally.

Josh Couchman
Digital Designer & Founder of AnotherWay® Digital
Josh, also known as "Couch," spent a decade working in Leeds agencies before starting AnotherWay® Digital in 2023. His team is a tight-knit group dedicated to designing, building, and creating content for websites.

Dan Burton
Creative Photographer
Dan channels his passion for creative photography, working with a diverse range of clients, from expectant mothers to corporates, helping them document their stories through compelling imagery. What began as a side hustle during the 2020 pandemic has evolved into a fulfilling part-time venture in 2024.

Located within the creative waterside neighbourhood, Department Leeds Dock was designed and curated to support the already thriving creative, media and digital industries within Leeds. The inventory of the building has been specifically selected to aid creative faculties, with facilities like a Podcast Suite on-site, Cinema and a content studio opening soon.
