Course overview
This three-day course provides a fantastic start to using AnyLogic to effectively solve real problems. It starts with a brief overview of simulation technology and appropriate use, and the AnyLogic modeling framework. Then significant time will be dedicated to learn the three main types of modeling using the AnyLogic Library.
These are: Discrete Event Modeling, System Dynamics & Agent based Modeling. It then overviews innovative features to work with model data and ends with interpretation of simulation results. The course will end with application to real-world situations and a discussion of how to ensure the success of your simulation projects.
This course is customized to the industry and desires of the attendees. It is supplemented with topics of special interest and/or project jump-start advice.
Who should attend?
This course is appropriate for all audiences, especially those who are interested in doing large or frequent simulation projects. Individuals who have previous simulation experience will also benefit from this course, as it may be customized to focus on more of the advanced topics related to AnyLogic.
Location and logistics
MOSIMTEC Headquarters (Washington, DC metropolitan area)
The classes will be held in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Plenty of hotel accommodation in the Herndon/Reston area, less than 10 minutes from Dulles International Airport (IAD) and 40 minutes to downtown Washinton, DC and all its attractions. The start time for the first day is 12 pm, with a half day session, followed by a 7 to 8 hour daily schedule, and a final half day schedule. Final schedule will be customized to best suit the requirements of all attendees. The standard fee for the class is USD $1,800 per attendee.
Note that depending on interest received, specific class dates may be rescheduled. Registered participants will be notified well in advance.
