Who would have thought that I, at 29 years old, would be showcasing my art in a gallery like TomFoolery? Certainly not me. My name is Anya, originally from Russia but adopted in 2000. Growing up, I wasn't always painting or drawing creatively; I simply enjoyed the simplicity of youth. As an adult, I traveled. I've been to 7 countries, I've loved, I've lost, I've dreamed, and also failed. But through it all, there was hope and endurance.
Life has given me many cool experiences, and I've channeled them into these paintings.
My collection, "The Sun Will Rise Again," draws inspiration from the American west, my admiration for bison, and the beauty around me. Each painting tells a story of healing, or bursts of joyful emotions, or provides closure to unfinished ideas. It's a reflection of how endurance and grace can eventually fill your life with happiness and love.
I hope that as you view my artwork, you feel inspired and join me in celebrating this milestone. As you walk through my collection, I will have stories of my adoption, my travels and life, to reminding you that you are not alone in this crazy journey we call life.
