Join Dawn Rothwell for an informative group session offering an opportunity to try the Alpha Stim AID device, designed specifically to help people who live with with anxiety, depression, insomnia and pain. There will also be a discussion on how we can help people living with these conditions.WHAT IS ALPHA STIM?
The Alpha Stim is used by the NHS and Mind. It is a non-invasive device that you can sit comfortably with for up to an hour while relaxing. The Alpha Stim has been shown to significantly reduce anxiety and insomnia consistently when used according to the recommendations.
WHO IS IT FOR?
It is available to anyone suffering with anxiety or insomnia as an alternative therapy, it also acts fantastically well to calm the brain and central nervous system down after just one session.
The workshop is also available to health professionals looking for an alternative therapy that can help their clients.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
This workshop will last approx 90 min. There will be an introduction to the use of Alpha Stim and opportunity to try it out. Once you have attended a workshop you will be able to call in to the Monastery and use the onsite Alpha Stim free of charge. There will also be an opportunity to buy one for yourself if you wish.
This group session is designed to help you overcome anxiety, stress and insomnia through discussion and information about self help techniques.
HOW WILL I BENEFIT?
If you are suffering with any of the conditions mentioned you will have the opportunity to discover first hand, and under supervision, the effects of Alpha Stim. It will reduce the symptoms of stress and anxiety, usually in the first session, and will give you clarity and focus allowing you to make plans moving forward.
Professionals will have the opportunity to help their clients by using these devices in their own practice.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT?
No, just wear loose, comfortable clothes.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND?
The sessions are currently free and the use of the device is also free.

Dawn Rothwell is the main consultant for Alpha Stim in the UK and has used the device for years with many of her clients. She will be available all day to answer any questions and to demonstrate how to use the device to get the most benefit.
