About this Event
Join us for the ANU Disability Research Network’s showcase, where we’ll spotlight ground-breaking disability research and inclusion projects from across ANU.
The event features a keynote address from Nas Campanella, ABC’s National Disability Affairs Reporter, and presentations by ANU Honours and PhD students, early career researchers, senior academics, and professional staff.
Explore critical topics such as disability in policy and politics, disability and justice, gendered dimensions of disability, cultural and historical perspectives, and current challenges facing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The program also includes roundtable discussions on Inclusive Design and Neurodiversity. We will send program details to registered participants closer to the date.
When: 9:45am – 4:30pm, Monday, 18 November
Where: Acton Theatre, Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU
You can register for the keynote address only (includes morning tea), or for the full day program (includes lunch). Catering (vegetarian and vegan options) is provided. Please select which registration option you prefer at checkout.
Why attend? This is a unique opportunity to learn about the diverse disability research happening across ANU, connect with researchers from different schools, and engage in important discussions on inclusion and accessibility. Registration is essential, as places are limited.
