Antrim Bata is the style we teach, which hails from County Antrim in Northern Ireland.
Bataireacht was very popular in Ireland and even abroad for centuries, but nearly disappeared during the 1900s. There are now only a handful of traditional styles left which are enjoying a Renaissance.
