The thought of couples fawning over each other in every restaurant while over-paying for a cutesy-themed prix-fixe meal is enough to drive some people over the edge.
The bitter, disgruntled singles, the nerds, the unloved, the anti-consumerists, the anti-love/pro-hate folks - they're all behind the growing anti-Valentine's Day movement. And they don't need Hallmark or Russell Stover to tell them how to have fun. Just a bar, some music and the chance to meet others like them - or a chance to go somewhere and forget how alone - or angry - they really are.
La Vibra will host their Anti-Valentine's Day Party on Feb. 14, starting at 7:30 p.m.
