Ontario Anti-Racism Education Regional Summits:
Join us for a series of regional summits across Ontario focused on addressing systemic racism in education. As we reach five years since our Education Initiative's inception, this year’s events will reflect on our progress, share insights, and launch the next phase of initiatives. Our goals include highlighting key anti-racism efforts, consulting with community voices, and developing a shared framework to influence Ontario's provincial policies on racial equity in education. We’re also setting the stage for ongoing collaboration and capacity-building sessions, supporting schools and school boards in creating equitable learning environments.
Regional Summits Schedule:
- Eastern Ontario – Ottawa, February 18th, 2025, 9am to 4pm
- Southwestern Ontario – London, March 25th, 2025, 9am to 4pm
- Northern Ontario – Sudbury, April 24th, 2025, 9am to 4pm
- Central Ontario – Toronto, May 29th, 2025, 9am to 4pm
Each summit will feature panel discussions, workshops, and community consultations. Whether you're an educator, policymaker, student, or community advocate, join us in shaping a future where Ontario’s schools are inclusive and free from discrimination.
