Torturous Promotions are proud to present another gig at The Chameleon in Nottingham and it's a very special night of Black Metal!Headlining this soon to be legendary event are Ante-Inferno!
At this gig, Ante-Inferno will play the whole of their latest album "Fane" in full!
A grim, torturous battery for the forlorn, which stabs at thee straight from Hell’s heart. Neither hope nor light dwells in the Ante-Inferno: only lamentations of the lost, fanned by the flames of burning souls. From the frost-bitten climes of North Yorkshire we came, wielding hate and vice in equal degree. They are the essence of true, English black metal.
Main support on the tour comes from Ninkharsag!
Inspired by magick, dark history, nature and warfare, Ninkharsag delve deep into forgotten lore to add a feeling of ancient archaism to pervade their musical themes. Musically, they have been compared to Emperor, Mayhem, Dissection and bands of that ilk but also have their own style which sets them apart from other contemporary bands and drags the 90's black metal sound into the 21st century.
Further support comes from hometown heroes Antre!
Drawing on a wide range of influences in particular black metal as well as death metal, thrash and hardcore to create an atmosphere which is more claustrophobic, savage and intense than ethereal, Antre is a representation of the inner dark place in all of us, the dark cave in our souls and the anger and rage that manifests itself there.
Opening up proceedings are Underdark!
Fusing together Black Metal, Shoegaze, Screamo with other sub-genres, Underdark create a sonically punishing wall of angst and disgust.
