For decades, an enigmatic figurehead, known as The Fairy Queen, has been displayed in the Scottish Fisheries Museum. But where did it come from, and what does it symbolise?
In this talk Ellie Hyland shares the findings of her research into The Fairy Queen, a journey which explores the broader history of figureheads, from the people who made them to their legacy in maritime communities.
