The North Warwickshire village of Ansley is excited to announce its participation in the prestigious National Open Gardens scheme, a nationwide initiative that celebrates and shares the beauty of gardens in communities across the UK. On Sunday 30th June, Ansley residents will open their private gardens to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy the variety of flora and fauna on display in partnership with Ansley Village Gardening Group.
The Open Gardens scheme, which has been running for over 90 years aims to inspire and educate visitors about gardening and horticulture while also raising funds for national and local charities which to date has raised £60 million pounds for good causes. Ansley is thrilled to be part of this longstanding tradition and to showcase the unique and beautiful gardens in the village.
Visitors to Ansley's Open Gardens will be able to explore a range of different garden styles, from cottage gardens to formal gardens to wildflower meadows. The gardens will feature a variety of plants, including rare and exotic species, roses, bespoke topiary as well visitors can enjoy a selection of refreshments and locally baked sweet treats cakes. There will also be opportunities to speak with the gardeners themselves and learn more about their gardening techniques and experiences.

On the day we will also be treated to Ansley Morris Dancers, cream teas and homemade cakes from our wonderful garden hosts and The Coffee Hut will be open at Hood Lane Farm serving a variety of barista hot drinks and flower themed cupcakes.
