We are thrilled to announce that Anoka Pride Day 2025 is set for Saturday, June 7th! Our hearts are still full from this year's incredible experience. During our follow-up meeting last night, we discussed the learning curve, areas where we can improve, and exciting new ideas to make Anoka Pride Day 2025 even bigger and better.To achieve this, we need the community's support. We're looking for assistance with fundraising, live entertainment, vendor and education booths, volunteers, and more. Some of our ideas for next year include a fashion show or contest, additional entertainment, a possible parade, merchandise, and much more. Additionally, we are in need of a space to host an after-party to continue the celebration.
Anoka Pride Day is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and a testament to the love and acceptance that binds us together. We aim to create a safe, inclusive space where everyone can feel proud of who they are.
While we will be taking a short break, planning will resume in January. Keep an eye out for our posts as we get closer to the date.
We deeply appreciate everyone who helped make this year’s event a safe space filled with love and pride for all. We can't wait to see you in 2025!
