About this Event
Join community song leaders Debbie Nargi-Brown and Amanda West for their annual Winter Solstice community celebration (held a little early this year).
Through meditation, song and simple ritual we will drop into the deeper parts of ourselves and align with the season while nourishing our hearts and spirits through song.
We have been gathering during this sacred time for nearly a decade now, yet this will be our first one IN PERSON since 2019!!
PLEASE BRING ~
- an item for our collective altar
- warm tea in a covered mug (if you like)
- a friend or loved one
BE PREPARED TO ~
- enter in sacred silence
- learn by ear & sing beautiful simple songs of the season in harmony & community
- help clean up at the end (if you can, we thank you!)
OTHER NOTES ~
- Masks are welcome, and optional
- Children are free, and welcome IF they can easily attune to a quiet, sacred space
- The venue is wheelchair accessible
- Suggested donation is $40 - $20. No one turned away for lack of funds.

ABOUT the facilitators:
Debbie Nargi-Brown started singing and dancing on the day she was born! A gifted community song leader, an award-winning dance teacher, and a talented songwriter, she offers her songs with love, compassion, and the hope of bringing joy and healing to others. She writes songs for the heart, healing, transformation, love, grief, and all that connects us as human beings.

Amanda West is a songstress, teaching artist, community leader, mother and ever-evolving human. She is co-founder of Womb Song, an organization that supports the perinatal journey through song, and runs the Bridge All Ages Community Choir in Felton, CA. Amanda brings music as medicine to help cultivate resilience, hope and connection for this time of collective rebirthing on planet earth.
