Annual Utah Spartans Potluck Picnic
Come join us for our annual Utah Spartans Picnic at the Storm Mountain Picnic Area in the Big Cottonwood Canyon!
It's going to be a day filled with fun, food, and friends. Bring your dish to share and any lawn games you'd like to play. We'll have cornhole, music, and plenty of good vibes. Don't forget to wear your Spartan gear to show your team spirit. This is an in-person and kid-friendly event, so get ready to enjoy the great outdoors with your fellow Spartans. Leave your dogs at home, this picnic area is located in a watershed area and no pets are allowed.

Location Details
- From I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel a mile east to Wasatch Blvd.
- Take Wasatch Blvd a mile south to junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 190.
- Make a left at the junction and travel up Big Cottonwood Canyon 2.8 miles to the picnic area.
- Look for picnic sites 12, 13, 14, and 15 at Storm Mountain. We'll have a Spartan flag out to help you find us.
- Roads, parking spurs and footpaths are paved.
- Free to park.
- NO PETS ALLOWED. THE PICNIC AREA IS IN A WATERSHED AREA.

RSVP and Donate!
The club will provide hot dogs and burgers, so please RSVP so we bring enough! BYOB of choice. No potable water on site. Thank you for bringing a dish to share - anything goes! Chips, veggies and fruits, desserts, you know the drill.
Help us offset some of the costs of hosting the picnic (burgers, brats, reservation, etc.) with a minimum $5/family donation to the club. You can donate here on this site or bring a cash donation to the picnic.
