A 4-mile Slow Roll glow ride will be part of First Thursday festivities on October 3rd. Free glow sticks and lights will be provided to decorate before we roll out. What's a Slow Roll you ask? It's a a group bike ride where the point is not to race but to relax and enjoy good company and good vibes. Slow Rolls have become hugely popular in cities across the US because they appeal to such a wide audience it's not just cyclists at these rides so you can leave your spandex at home ;-)
This is a kid-friendly ride but there are still a few hills, Strider bikes and training wheels are not advised.
Don't have a bike? All wheels welcome! Roller skaters, skateboarders and e-scooters riders can join the fun!
The First Thursday event also includes live music, street performances, children’s activities, food trucks, a craft beer and more.
