You're invited! Join WIPS members at our annual auction. It's a party but it's also an important fundraiser for our grants and scholarships program that helps fund paleontological research, outreach and study. There will be lots of cool items to bid on –– from fossils, books, artwork, collectibles and more. Every year is different and you never know what treasures you'll find! This year, some fabulous items have already been donated by dealers at the Denver Gem & Mineral Show.Anyone is welcome to come, enjoy refreshments and bid on items. We'd love to see friends from other area earth science groups.
If you're not a WIPS member, 100% of the proceeds from items you buy go to WIPS. Members have the option of choosing a 100% or 50% donation.
The schedule:
Door open for setup – 1 p.m.
Refreshments – 2 to 2:30 p.m.
Silent auction tables – 2:30-5:30 p.m.
Verbal auction for special items – 3:30 p.m.
Checkout begins – 5:30 p.m.
