The Haverhill Garden Club will be hosting their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 18th on the Bradford Common from 8 a.m. to sell out. The sale will feature a wide variety of annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetable plants.
Patrons can have their garden tools sharpened for a nominal fee and the event will also offer a wheelbarrow raffle of gardening supplies and free on-site soil testing. Proceeds from the plant sale fund civic garden projects around the city, guest lecturers at the Haverhill Public Library, and three higher education scholarships for students pursuing degrees in the agricultural sciences.
